Watch and save #Terriers. This is the best new show in years, and it is in danger of being canceled due to low ratings…despite critical adoration and dedicated fan fervor.
WHAT THE HELL IS TERRIERS ABOUT?
If you’re wondering about the title - ignore it, as the series has nothing to do with dogs.
I would classify Terriers as a drama with humor and heart, about an ex-cop who partners with his best friend to form an unlicensed Private Investigation business in San Diego. There is tremendous character development, cast chemistry and camaraderie. Terriers has a unique look and feel, and truly stands out in the current television landscape.
PLAY CATCH UP
It is not too late to start watching Terriers and catch up; there have only been 10 episodes. Buy the first few on iTunes and then watch the more recent episodes for free on Hulu. Trust me, you will be far more satisfied purchasing 5 episodes of Terriers than you will be buying 2 vanilla lattes. You won’t regret the $10 investment.
THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN
Follow executive producer/writer @ShawnRyanTV on Twitter for updates. To give you an idea of what he brings to the Terriers table, Ryan was the executive producer of The Shield and also currently produces Lie to Me. By the way, I’ve had the privilege of watching the pilot for his new series The Chicago Code (which debuts in February on FOX) and absolutely loved it.
If you’re already a fan of Terriers, the San Diego Film Commission was told that emails to FX in support of the show (user@fxnetworks.com) are actually being tallied. [Thank you to @WatchTerriers for the info!]
READY, SET, WATCH!
There is plenty of room on the Terriers bandwagon. Trust me, you’ll enjoy the ride. This is me, extending out my hand for you jump on.
